Qualifications

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following qualifications and experience:Must have HTML skills at advanced level
Must have comfortable working with Drupal CMS
Computer skills
Mac and PC proficient
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office and other Internet Applications such as Skype

Experience working with PHP, CSS, Javascript
Familiarity with setup and maintenance of LAN
Self-starter able to work independently
Can adapt to hectic environments
Other qualifications

Ability to commit to a minimum of 16 hours per week over at least a 12 week period

Interest in international development and peacekeeping
Ability and appreciation for the need for high standards of accuracy and attention to detail
Creative and Innovative

Nightlife/Party planner positions


(over 21 years old unpaid internship)


Our nightlife/party planner interns are in charge of the small events (limo tour/birthdays) and the whole nightlife part (promotional services for nightclubs, admissions, table reservations, party pics..etc)
 We work with some of the best nightclubs in Manhattan and our promotional services are a big part of our activity. We are in charge of the nightclub’s communication and our Euro weekly parties are famous in Europe and in nyc (European community). We need interns to work with us on marketing and communication strategies. Nightlife and event planning industries request special hours. Our interns need to know that our events take place at night (late night hours). Its important for us to clarify those points.


Schedule:
Tuesday and Wednesday from 10am to 2pm
Thursday and Friday from 2pm to 6pm
 Wednesday or Thursday/Friday/Saturday from 10pm to 3am (networking from 10pm to 11.30pm + nightclub from 11.30pm to 3am)




TASKS:

 Office duties (Tuesday/Wed/Thursday/Friday Daylife):
- Web-Communication and Web-Promotion (Promote our weekly parties on internet)
- Cold calls and Prospects (Promote our parties through sms and phone calls)
- Limo Tour coordination (Reservation, planning, coordination)
- Birthday Party coordination (Venues research, reservation, negotiation, planning, coordination)

Networking events (10pm to 11.30pm Wed or Thurs/Friday/Saturday - Nightlife):
- Pictures (Take pictures during the event)
- Public relations (Make connections in order to increase our contact/client's database)

Nightclubs (11.30pm to 3am Wed or Thursday/Friday/Saturday - Nightlife):
- Admissions (11.30pm, meet and walk our members vip in the club)
- Pictures (Take 30/40 pictures during the night Give out our flyers/business cards)
- Table reservations (Take care of our vip table and the other reservations)
- Networking and communication (Make connections)

Technical Design Intern



Interns will have standard office assistant duties. In addition to those duties interns will be responsible for organizing fittings and measuring all the samples received before the fitting season. After a fitting sessions interns will enter in fitting notes and comments in PDM and send reports to vendors and factories. Daily communication with our overseas factories and agents will also be one of the interns duties.

Interns will also be responsible for illustrating the pattern corrections with flat sketching and keeping charts and work status updated through Microsoft Excel. "    "Applicants must be able to work full time (32-40 hours a week). Must be detail oriented and be able to think on their toes in a fast paced environment. English language skills, both written and verbal, are required for this internship. Furthermore, applicants must be at least in senior standing.

Garment construction knowledge and Flat sketching ability, a plus.

The Internship is designed in three section:
1.Pre-Production: During this phase the Intern will gain a complete overview of the production process
2.Producion: During this phase the Intern will assist our TV Crew on the field for red carpet events and interviews
3.Post Production: During this phase the Intern will gain an understanding of the process of video editing and archiving sensitive celebrity footage 18 years and older. Pursing a higher education degree. Willing to learn, be motivated and passionate about all we will cover in the internship

Interns will be trained in creating marketing plans, research, management, sales techniques and sales closing methods. Goals will be set and a game plan will be established to help interns achieve and surpass goals.


Duties Include:

- Working as a team with other interns to plan and implement one complete promotional event per quarter under guidance of AGV Sport staff.
- Actively promoting existing AGV Sport events and programs.

The internship consists of improving our products aesthetic by applying and introducing the last concepts and tendencies in design into our products, in order to make them more and more attractive for the customer!
 That means that the student applying for the position will have to realize cutting edge designs for new products and more!
Students applying for this position should have experience with print and/or web design and/or multimedia. They have to be organized, very motivated and enthusiasts! Students should also be able to work effectively under pressure.

 Length: position is open for as long as the student would like, but with a minimum of three months, eight to fifteen hours per week.

 Credit
 Student interns will have an opportunity to receive college credit. Contact your undergraduate advising office for more information on academic credit.

Guest Service Clerk



The guest service clerk is frequently the first point of contact that a guest, camper, parent or other constituents will have with YMCA of the Ozarks.  Whether this contact is by telephone or in person, it must be a pleasant and positive experience.  Guest service clerks must be able to meet and receive people courteously and professionally.  The guest service clerk serves in a highly visible support capacity, thereby requiring an outgoing and friendly personality, pleasing appearance and ability to command respect by presence.  Must have excellent communication skills and impeccable English.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


1. Answer all telephone calls before the third ring, refer calls to appropriate person to take an accurate and complete message


2. First person to greet guest at the reception desk. Able to take care of immediate needs or to call appropriate person to assist.


3. First person to check in arriving guest, ensuring all information from registration cards is accurately entered into computer.  Check out all departing guest collecting payment and posting all charges and monies with 100% accuracy


4. Oversee general appearance of front desk and 4th floor lobby.


5. Performs any/all secretarial duties as deemed necessary by Director of Guest Service


6. Will work all shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed


7. Completes all items on the daily checklist with accuracy


8. Sells and promotes special weekends to perspective guests


9. Takes reservation calls, enters the same with 100% accuracy and confirms all details with guests before ending conversation


10. Responsible for balancing shift activity.  Counting all cash drawers each shift.


11. Provide Quality Customer Service at all times


12. Must provide information to guest concerning all programs, activities, and marketing materials.


13. Works with all staff members as a team player


14.  Serve as mentor and assist in training of all new hires


15.  Participate in all staff meetings

16. Distributes daily newspapers to each room occupied by guests


17. Preparation of nightly reports as required


18. Input all guest registration information as well as maintain mailing list in RDP


19. Ensure high quality of effectiveness in dealing with nighttime questions, problems, complaints, and emergencies as generate by guests.


20. Oversee accounting transactions for entire day


21.RDP nightly maintenance.  Running closing reports for managers and accounting, balancing reports nightly, closing the business day in the computer system and prepare operation for the next business day.
