We are looking for a brilliant, motivated Business Development Intern to join our team in NYC. What will you do? Recruitment of activity suppliers (nonprofit organizations) around the globe: -Research and invite amazing orgs from around the world to join visit.org -Support designing, writing, and editing orgs’ profile pages Business Development: -Research and create business partnership opportunities within the travel industry -Coordinate and organize speaking opportunities to introduce our company at different industry events What do we offer? This internship is unpaid. We highly encourage students who can receive academic credit to apply. You will increase your knowledge of the global tech & social good sector and gain substantial, easily demonstrable experience in your areas of interest. Experts in the industry will guide your work. We work at a fun co-working space in NYC. Timeline & Commitment: Begin ASAP and commit to at least 4 months part-time, 10-20 hours a week. Interns can work remotely or at Columbia StartUp Labs, WeWork Soho, 69 Charlton Street.

Works with internal and external parties to initiate and run major projects. Coordinates schedules and activities, places orders for supplies and services, and tracks progress and results. Requires excellent communication skills and extensive knowledge of database and project management software. Often reports to product development, project management or marketing executives.

What will you do? -Manage all content on the Visit.org blog -Write, edit, and generate ideas for blog posts related to travel and social good -Solicit content from our global network of Visit.org ambassadors -Help develop and monitor creative social media campaigns -Stay up-to-date with current news and events in relevant fields and produce, share, and cross-promote related content -Research, comment, and post on popular tech, travel, and social good blogs, websites, and other media outlets -Initiate and innovate! Host organizations reinvest proceeds into programs that benefit local communities. We are looking for a brilliant, motivated Business Development Intern to join our team. 

What will you do?

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): - maintaining artist and client relations - support agents during various conferences including NACA, SPRA, APCA, and more - assemble and distribute promotional materials - assist with administrative duties - assist with acquiring new talent

Answer incoming customer service calls for multiple Long Term Care product lines Receive, evaluate and respond to customer inquiries Research policyholder inquires, consider the terms of the policy as it relates to the policy and/or claim, and respond in a manner within specified timeframes Maintain current knowledge of corporate policies, products and departmental procedures. Updates will be communicated from management, but maintaining and applying this knowledge is required on the part of the Claim Review Representative Maintain departmental goals for quality & productivity Interface with management, policyholders, and other internal departments on all customer service related issues
