POSITION SUMMARY:
The Marketing Internship is a newly created position to assist the airport promote its services to the local region. Lebanon Airport is a non-hub commercial service airport located in West Lebanon, New Hampshire. The Marketing Intern will report directly to the airport manager and will perform a wide variety of marketing, advertising, and public relations activities working a flexible schedule of approximately 15-20 hours per week.

POSITION DUTIES:
*Assist airport manager and Airport Advisory Committee with the development and implementation of a wide range of marketing, public relations and communications strategies, and activities for Lebanon Airport, to enhance community understanding, involvement, and utilization of airport facilities that promote commercial air service growth and development
*Assist with the development of community outreach and advertising programs that keep the public informed about Lebanon Airport, its airline(s), its general aviation businesses, and other companies that offer services to the users of the airport
*Work with local and regional media to promote the Lebanon Airport through press releases and advertisements
*Assist with the preparation and delivery of air service and cargo development presentations to the local travel industry and community
*Assist in areas of public affairs, community relations, and development of advertising and promotional materials
*Assist with the development and maintenance of airport's web site
*Assist with the development and production of the airport newsletter
*Conduct airport tours
*Analyze air service data to develop marketing strategies

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
*Requires excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to speak effectively in a variety of small and large group settings
*Excellent MS Office skills with emphasis on Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
*Familiarity with web resources and web site development is desirable
*Skills in graphic design, marketing, public relations, and use of desktop publishing is desirable
*Excellent organizational, time management, and project management skills
*Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
*Professional appearance and demeanor

EDUCATION:
*At least junior level undergraduate student with a minimum GPA of 3.0

As our trainee you will experience the key departments of an international acting business. This includes sales to customers as well as dealers, sales analysis, learning how to target key markets & how to use marketing instruments to increase sales. You will learn to use controlling instruments to make the right marketing decisions. Finally you will work closely with the President of the company and experience how to conquer new markets and how to deal with key customers.


The phases for this internship will be flexible according to your skills and interests. Although it is mandatory that you get insight into all departments and processes of our company you will still be able to focus on fields that interest you the most (e.g. one of our interns with excellent computer skills designed a completely new website, one who wanted to focus on sales went to a trade show to acquire new dealers for our products).


During the internship you will also participate in and be responsible for upcoming projects that can be in logistics/marketing/etc. according to your skills. (in the past those projects were e.g. restructuring our order process to do everything online, analysis of potential markets, research for brand establishing, designing brochures etc)
