WEB DEVELOPMENT INTERNSHIP

Our web development internship positions are available for a dynamic sports apparel company. Add to your existing skills, create, develop, and post actual web work. Projects and goals will be set and a game plan will be established to help interns achieve and surpass goals. We offer the latest version of most graphic arts software such as Macromedia Dreamweaver, Fireworks, and Flash, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Quark, and many more.

Length
The position is open for as long as the student would like, but with a minimum of three months. Flexible programs from 12-35 hours per week.



Qualifications

Ideal for college students or recent graduates wishing to add real world experience to their educational credentials.
Must have at least basic computer skills. Experience with print, internet and multimedia are a plus. Must be organized, very motivated and enthusiastic.
International students welcome.

Credit

The sales/marketing intern will be trained on creating marketing plans, sales techniques and sales closing methods. Goals will be set and a game plan will be established to help interns achieve and surpass goals. The intern program is designed to focus on advance sales in a fun and exciting environment.

Duties Include:

- Working as a team with other interns to plan and implement one complete promotional event per quarter under guidance of the Sport staff
- Actively promoting existing Sport events and programs
- Help develop and refine the overall Sport student marketing plan
- Other duties as assigned-- general office work


Desired Characteristics:

- Excellent organization and interpersonal skills
- Self-starter, able to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong writing skills
- Competency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, or desire to gain competency

We are looking to add a couple experienced nightlife and event photographers.  We cover events in Arts, Fashion, Charities & Benefits, Concerts, Dance Music and Nightlife.

The Perfect Candidate:
You love photography and shooting people, art, landscapes.

Must be 21+
Must be reliable and detailed oriented

Must have transportation
Must have your own equipment -  DSLR camera, preferably with external flash

Must have access to the internet to upload pictures
Experience in nightlife or Event photography
Charismatic, cordial, outgoing personality, who establishes good relationships and is NOT shy

What you deliver:
Great photographs and timely WEB updates.

What you deliver: Get candid photographs of interesting action. Take action photos and candid photos for various PR purposes (WEB pages, program, poster, newspaper, etc.)
 We do all post editing; provide hosting, and website.

 Be punctual and professional, shoot, then ftp the files over to our servers and have fun. You are expected to network.  We will provide you with business cards to handout to patrons so that they can view your work and contact you if desired.
The ideal candidate will want to work for about 1 year to help build her portfolio. We know this is a great way to build a name for yourself in the local market as quite a few times you will run into people needing photo services that are not covered by us (weddings, head shots, model layouts, product shoots, other events, etc)


There will be work on weekends as well as weeknights in the New York City metro area. There are multiple positions available.  Compensation will be discussed with qualified candidates.  This is an Internship.
