Requirements:

  • Must be working on a BS in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, economics, finance or any major with significantly similar course work.
  • Successfully completed SOA Exam

Accounting Internship
Location: Washington
As a boutique investment bank, we arrange equity financing for growth companies. Companies served are in all industries, typically early stage, including biotech, infotech.

Research and analysis of company backgrounds, preliminary contact with investors, sales meetings, letter writing.

When you participate in a program, you become part of a vast network of the alumni. Many have gone on to achieve great success, including founding their own corporations, running for elected office, and making the most of the skills they learned in Washington.
Interest in investment banking and venture capital.
Must be willing to work at least four months.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:   internships are full-time for a semester (15 weeks) or a summer or quarter term (10 weeks). The student's school awards academic credit. At least 80 percent of students' work is substantive and equivalent to that of an entry level professional. Students work with a program supervisor at assisting them in choosing an internship site and then supervises them throughout the semester or term.
At the internships placement, the student's agency supervisor works with the intern and evaulates the student's performance. All three are in regular contact throughout the internship to monitor the student's progress, to offer guidance, and to assist in the documentation of the intern's learning experience.
Because full-time internships within a strong academic framework, interns are often able to progress more rapidly with more substantive responsibilities than other interns who come on their own or are in other programs.

Accounting Internship

 An equipment and full service facility, offering everything from equipment rentals, camera operators to a post production facility. Our client list ranges from MTV, VH1, WE Networks, IFC and ABC Family.
We are looking for an Accounting Intern with some previous office experience. Duties will include assisting accountant with filing, billing, AR, AP credit and phones. Interns should have some knowledge working with QuickBooks, Excel and Word. Interns must be extememely dedicated, hardworking, detail oriented and motivated. The internship is non-paid but we are offering school credit. NO phone calls. Thank you.
