Duties will include answering phones, pitching press, pitching to potential clients, tracking press coverage, event planning and production and errands.

 A working art and photography studio in Soho. Responsibilities will include organizing and archiving art and photographs, working with collectibles, art and photography research. Participating in the development of the studio into a real-time 24/7 live event streaming video site that will feature the comings and goings of various artists, collectors and downtown players at this space. Other duties will include learning the  ''process'', answering phones, participating in live events that take place at the studio, etc.

 

Articulate, well-spoken individual who is a motivated, self-starter with a sense of humor willing to work in a free-form, collaborative environment with a variety of characters.

Makeup artist /hair stylist seeking someone to assist me in the salon/spa as well as on-location. This is a part time position starting mainly on weekends and moving into some weekdays.
 It is an internship so it is an earn to learn position with some pay at times, but not on a regular basis. Skills learned in this position are all types of makeup application (photography, t.v., video, costume/character, beauty, airbrushing) and hair styling (temporary hair extentions, hot tool styling, updo styles, etc.)

The ideal candidate for this position is someone who is seriously focused on learning about makeup artistry and hair styling and is willing to dedicate their time in order to do so. A clean, professional appearance is required. You should be the type who can manage your time well, follow schedules and instructions, and be a stickler for being on time. Must have reliable transportation. Must have a resume and references.
I know I am asking a lot for a position that doesn't pay regularly, but in this position, the right person will learn skills that are not only invaluable, but will propel them forward in their career.

This is an entry-level position with a brand new Spanish language game show on Univision. The position will require heavy phone work.
