We are looking for a Web and Database developer.

Selected candidate will:
* Participate in the design, programming and maintenance/troubleshooting of intranet and extranet applications for management, associates and customers using ASP, VBScript, MS SQL Server 2000, and MS Access database.
* Develop new web pages and update existing site content.
* Create, maintain and troubleshoot stored procedures, triggers.
* Create linked servers to retrieve data from different data sources.
* Maintain and review daily Database server reports logs focusing on the health of the systems.
* Coordinate database integrations, migrations and data conversions.
* Setup and monitor data replication and extractions.
* Verify, create, and test backup and restore plans for all database systems for purposes of all types of disaster recovery including non-production environments.
* Ensure all SQL Database systems in all environments are performing in an efficient and optimized manner.

You should also be able to meet deadlines, work independently on some projects as well as interacting with the IT or Marketing team on other Projects.

* Experience developing ASP pages with MS Access and SQL Server as backend databases.
* Good understanding of Hand Coded HTML and CSS.
* Good understanding of SQL Server 2000 Stored Procedure, triggers, views , ad hoc queries, T-SQL .
* Good understanding of Windows OS 2000, IIS and MS Office.
* Understanding of Relational Database structure (normalization process)
* Must have good written and verbal skills.

Position Title: Field Data Collection and Instrument System Maintenance

This type of project is an essential component of all SDS agro-ecology research. A goal of this SW Florida based program is to explore issues of the water quality degrading as a consequence of rapid increase of not sustainable methods in agricultural practices.

This internship position involves serving as a field assistant responsible for maintenance of extensive network of flow and water quality monitoring stations, developing innovative approaches in an effort to meet the new water quality goals, analysis and reporting on collected data, developing project websites and attending meetings with local community of farmers as well as university level scientists.

We are seeking strongly motivated students willing to assist local non-giving up agricultural/ scientific community striving to explore and develop strategies to protect and enhance Florida's sensitive natural resources and restore the state’s water quality, while sustaining economically viable and compatible agricultural industry.
